Semi and solar wafers seeing divergent price trends, says paper |
According to a recent Chinese-language Commercial Times report, the average selling prices (ASPs) of silicon wafers for use by the solar and semiconductor sectors are seeing a divergent trend.
ASPs for 6-inch solar wafers are likely to raise by another 3% in the second quarter, whereas those for both 8- and 12-inch silicon wafers for semiconductor production are expected to slip by another 3-5% in the same period, the report wrote. |
